This is my picture of Hershey puppy :) She's almost ten years old, so I thought it'd be nice to paint this picture as a way of capturing her youth :) It's not perfect, but I'm proud of it.

List of Goals

Just recently, I've come up with ten goals that I've set for myself. If possible, I'd like to fullfill these before I finish my college career. So here are my goals (in no particular order)
Sell something on ebay for $50 or more

Become a published author

Make a video that gets on the popular videos on google video

Spend 24 hours in complete solitude (with God)

Read the Bible cover to cover

Have something (a building, body of water, road, etc.) named after me

Hike part of the Appalachin Trail

Sell a piece of my own art (I may be able to accomplish my ebay goal and this one at the same time)

Successfully pick a lock on a door

Create a new cartoon comic (I could be the next Charles Schultz)

So there's my list, I know, some of them aren't huge and I'm sure I won't be changing the world or anything. But you never know what you can accomplish until you try :)

Here's my most recent painting that I did over break. Yeah, it took me a while to get it up, I know, but I've been busy the past few days. Sorry the picture isn't the best in the world, but hopefully you can still enjoy this little piece. Brwyan and I decided that I should've painted a Noah's Ark within the mountain and said it was Ararat :)

I found this coupon and I thought I'd pass it on to everybody :) Just print off a copy and take it to your local grocery store and see what happens. Hope everybody is having a good Monday.

'Police were dispatched at 7:20pm Tuesday to the 300 block of West Lincoln Avenue to investigate the report of a stolen garage door. After a short investigation, it was discovered that the garage door was merely in the open position.'

This is a good demonstration of how ignorant people have become.

P.S. Who would want to steal a garage door anyway?

Spring Break!

Not that kind of spring break. 10 days of school freedom. It's amazing! My sister and I do have to write our History and Philosophy of Math papers, but that shouldn't take too awful long. Other than that, I don't really have any big plans, a little work at the pharmacy and alot of sleep. I hope everyone has a wonderful break :)

The Guys of Third North! Aren't we beautiful :) Guess who's not suppose to be in the picture. (Hint: it's not the cartoons ;) )

SOPHISTICATION: Easier than you think

Here's my most recent painting. It's a three canvas painting of the Isle of Heron and Chicken Island on Cherokee Lake. The picture above is really crappy because I had to piece the three together on Microsoft Paint, and they're distorted. Other than that, I think they're pretty (especially in person) I hope ya'll enjoy.

Art Appreciation

Wednsday I gave my art collage presentation. It w as short and sweet and it was about none other than Peanuts! I was proud of my creative idea of making a fold-up cover that was Snoopy's house :) I thought I'd share these perty pictures for everyone to see.

Have you ever had one of those days where you can see God constantly working throughout people's lives? Today has been one of those days for me. So many thoughts and events have presented themselves thoughout the course of the day that has reminded me that we're not in control.

Shawn and Jordan have helped me to realize that we are all slowly reaching adulthood. Us guys of Alumni were accepted into the appartments for next school year. I know that doesn't sound like a huge deal, but it's another small stepping stone in the walk of life.
As I read over Shawn and Jordan's blog entries, I started to think and reflect on the past semester. I can see that I too am beginning to "put away childish things" (1 Corinthians 13:11). This isn't to say that I'm not a fun person anymore, cause there are those Kool-Aid sugar rush nights that bring out the wild side of me, but I'm saying that my thoughts and actions aren't as child-like. I'm realizing that there are more important problems in the world then reality tv and whether or not I get enough sleep every night.
A few other friends of mine have helped me along in seeing how God works through relationships. I know it's hard to give advice to friends on certain topics when I'm having just as much trouble in these areas myself, but I've learned that God has put us all here in order to help one another the best we know how.
I realize that for all of you reading this, my thoughts probably don't seem to fit together, but I just had to write down some of these thoughts for my own benefit.
