Here I am
In a river of questions
Can I pour my heart out to a listening ear?
I see this life
It's valley's and mountains
And I think of all the roads that brought me here
Oh that brought me here

I've questioned my reasons
The life I'm living
I've questioned my ability
To judge wrong from right
I've questioned all the things
That I've ever called certain
My race, my religion, my country, my mind

But the one thing I don't question is You
You really love me like you say you do
Yea the one thing I don't question is You
You really love me like you say you do
Hold me Hold me
So Hold me

Well I've questioned my significance
Meaning and relevance
Does the work I'm doing really matter at all?

Well I've questioned my friendships
Alliance, dependence
Who will still be here when I fall?
But the one thing I don't question is You

You really love me like you say you do
Yea the one thing I don't quesiton is You
You really love me like you say you do
So hold me
Hold me

Only one thing doesn't change
Only one thing stays the same
All I know at the end of the day is your love remains

The One Thing - Paul Colman

Goodbye November, Hello December

Another month has past, and it's officially December. That means, no shave November has ended, and Deck the Halls has begun. I finally finished and turned in a test, a project, and a research paper all in one day. It's a huge relief to finally get that stuff done. Now, I can spend time on decorating our hall :) We've got a few things started, and I can tell it's going to be a beauty. Also, I'd like to throw a shout out to Ms. Jordan who restrung my guitar for me tonight. Thanks

Baby Face Brian

As I was writing my paper for computer organization the other night, I got really hot and decided that it was time to shave. So, even though it's not the end of November, I did go a month without shaving. But, I am now a young looking boy. It's just hair, it'll grow back :)

Hard Drive Hard Times

I apologize to all of the readers out there for not updating as much as I usually do. I've been extremely busy the past few days.
For my Computer Organization class, I get to write a five page single spaced paper on hard disks. I mean, they're cool and all, but there's only so much stuff you can write about them. So for everyone out there reading, I'll do my best to continue to blog as usual, but if I don't get around to it, you now know why. Belated Happy Thanksgiving!

Hot Chocolate!

We just had the best hot chocolate that I have ever had in all of my life! Shawn has a machine that mixes up coffees and other warm beverages. At first, Shawn was reluctant to try out his machine because it was so late, but I think he's glad that we did try it. That was some gooooood stuff. So, we'll be having lots of Hot Chocolate parties for the next few days!

I'm Back!

I just realized that it has been several days since my last post. I thought I would just let everybody know that I am still alive and well, I've just been busy doing many things such as a Sociology video, homework/tests, etc... Hopefully, now that those are over, I can focus a little more of my time on my blog!

I hope that you enjoy this picture from our credits of our Sociology video :) (if you haven't seen it yet, you really should) Just to let everyone know, the presentation went very well, and the class got a kick out of Shawn's dance. Thanks Shawn!

Turkey Bowl!

This week Turkey Bowl begins! Turkey Bowl is a flag football competition between the halls. It's an Alumni tradition that has been around for quite some time. Coincidentally, last night Cheney brought us a whole bunch of turkey, so now we have a refrigerator full of turkey. So, if anyone wants a turkey sandwich, just let me know.

Kiss Those Teenage Years Goodbye!

Happy 20th Jennifer!
I know that your teenage years have been wonderful, and now it's time for you to cross the 1/5 of a Century mark! You're so old :) Just kidding. I hope you have a wonderful birthday and a good year. I bet you thought that I'd forget, but how could I forget you?
We've been together so long you're like my little sister. Except, you're older than me. But you can't be my older sister, because that's Marsha. So, Happy Birthday Ittle Sister :) Love Always

"Raindrops keep falling on my head"

It's absolutely amazing to see what can be done with just a pencil, pin, a little bit of tape, and some construction paper! Believe it or not, tonight we actually made a record player. True, it wasn't the best quality in the world and it wasn't always playing at the same tempo, but we did hear the chorus of "Raindrops keep falling on my head" so we were quite pleased.

TRAIN

Ok, I have to tell this story. So, Brian and I have been staying up the past several nights doing various things, such as homework and tests and studying. So, last night, Brian fell asleep around 2:30ish, but it was so hot in our room I just couldn't fall asleep. So I was laying in bed, and outside I hear these dogs just howling away at nothing. For about fifteen minutes, they're just howling away. I'm laying up in bed thinking "shut up you stupid dogs" Finally, around 3:00 they stop barking. About that time, the train decides to come through. And it's the train with the disgruntle conductor that likes to blow the whistle for two minutes straight. And, no joke, the train took five minutes to pass by (rather than the 70 seconds the average train takes to pass (fun fact)). So the train, of course, gets the dogs to howling again. And I just had to start laughing again as I thought "I'm never going to get to sleep". But, good news, I finally did get to sleep, but it was about 4:00! I just had to share my little story about the dogs and the disgruntle conductor, and now I'm off to bed (hopefully)

Little Baby Brian?

Ok, so a few days ago, while in the Dollar Store, some people found pregnancy tests for sale. One of these people happend to be my roommate. So, they were curious to find out exactly how accurate a pregnancy test from the Dollar Store could possibly be. Brian actually took two seperate tests, a pregnancy test and an ovulation test.

Now I know all of you out there are curious to find out the results, so here they are:

Pregnancy Test: Negative, Brian is not pregnant, however we found it funny that it turned up negative rather than invalid, but hey, he's not going to have a baby!

Ovulation Test: Now this is the fun one because we're not exactly sure what the results are.

Because here is his test, and as you can kind of see, there are three lines! And if you look on the instructions, there isn't a result for three lines. So, who knows! But the good news is that Brian isn't pregnant right now, so we don't have to worry about him missing his college classes for lamaze classes, but maybe some day his time will come ;)

Mr. Brian

P.S. I know you probably think we're wierd, but we're college kids, its how we are :)

No Shave November!

The Alumni Tradition of No Shave November has officially began :) This is kind of a way for all the guys of the dorm to come together and make a vow that they will not shave for the entire month of November. Yes, it may get itchy, and many will fail to complete the journey, but the strong will end up with a lovely beard :) So, for the next month, if you see any of the Alumni boys, don't think of them as scraggely and unkempt but as committed and devoted men.
